This workshop will be held near Dallas, TX. The workshop is open to photographers aspiring toward wedding photography and bridal portraiture. There is no need to have already ventured out into wedding photography as this is an entry level class.
The workshop will cover the following topics, then some:
* Ceremony Expectations & Issues
* Working with Real Brides & Grooms
* Wedding Packages & Info
* The Basics of Booking a Wedding
* Do's & Don'ts of Wedding Photography
* Creative Bridal Posing
* Formal/ Traditional Portrait Poses
* Using Natural Light Effectively
* Basic Technical Techniques - aka figuring out how to use your camera (ISO, DOF, flash, etc)
* Adding Drama with light/ color
* Flatter Posing for Different Figures
* Basics of Alter Shots
* Basics of Shadows and Light
* Basics of 2nd Shooting
* 5 Key Wedding Shots - How to get them!
* Get Great Portfolio Pieces
* Model(s) Provided
We will have a model wearing a designer wedding gown for this event. THIS WILL BE AN EXCELLENT LOCATION TO GET SOME KILLER PORTFOLIO PIECES.
***You do NOT have to be a wedding photographer to benefit from this workshop.***
Components of wedding photography and other venues are very similar. We choose the model to wear a wedding gown in this case. So, if you need non-wedding help - pay attention to the area's discussed, rather than the wedding gown. We've also had photogs attend several workshops who wanted to have a fun afternoon shooting, trying new things - if that describes you, that's OK too.
